Mercedes College is a Year 7-12 Catholic College for young women with a rich, proud heritage and an excellent academic record. It is has the distinction of being the oldest girls’ school in Australia on the original site of foundation. Located in the heart of the Perth CBD and its beautiful heritage precinct, it has a mix of historic buildings and modern new facilities, offering a unique and quality education for young women.

At the heart of the College community is a commitment to nurturing faith and building relationships. Each member of the community is called to walk in the footsteps of Christ and in doing so honour the heritage of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy who, led by Ursula Frayne, laid the foundation for the College in 1846.
