St George Hospital School is a unique educational environment. We are an attractive and well resourced single classroom school located within the Paediatric Ward of St George Hospital. We offer motivational and diverse learning programs tailored to meet the needs of hospitalised students, both on the ward and in the classroom. Our morning program focusses on Literacy with a special emphasis on Creative Writing. Our middle session focusses on Numeracy utilising such programs as Studyladder and Mathletics. We also provide innovative technology including useful and effective educational apps on our iPads. We provide a varied Visual Arts program to engage and challenge learners, from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our teaching and support staff are experienced, caring and highly qualified. We pride ourselves in the supportive partnerships we have developed with students, families, hospital staff, home schools and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team (CAMHS).
